We can’t even agree on which is the first or second Commandment. Instead of going into the argument of which is one and which is two, I’d like to share my testimony of how I came to learn that the commandments are my life and to guard them.
Before we leave Commandment one, I just want forewarn you. We’re going to take a look at many hidden ways we bow down other mighty ones, sometimes without knowing it.
Consider the loosely – used term, false prophet. Everyone has a finger pointed at someone –accusing them of being a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I have a testimony to share about it. Actually, I may want to do an entire “chapter” on the false prophet. It may not be what you think or expected. All I can say for now, is consider who you are listening to. Who is feeding your spiritual food. Could it be contaminated?
Also consider people who you put before Elohim. Does your buddy cause you to move to the left or right of what is holy in the eyes of the Most High? Following that buddy could be an idol. How about your pre-marital sex friend? That little bunny could be leading you to the pit. I know, I was one.
Is this intended to take away all your fun. Yes. If it’ll save one of my people from remaining in the snare of Satan, then it’s worth it. If it causes you to sin, pluck it out.
Mattithyahu 5:29 And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of you members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gey Hinnom.
The Master said that.
It’s not easy, as I found it took years for me to purge out certain sins.
What about those singers on TV. Your favorite pop or TV star just may have an agenda. I came across a clip on You Tube where a famous singer was engaging her audience to repeat, “I don’t care if I go to hell.” That, my friends is called agreement and it forms a spiritual bond. They are hard to break. I have a testimony about spiritual bonds, as well.
Please remember, I am not claiming to be a teacher of the Torah or the renewed covenant. I’ve been called to share my testimony and how I came into a qodesh (holy) life. How Elohim pulled me out of the world, Satan’s grasp and my own fleshly nature. I hope I can keep that focus and help my people do the same. My goal is to help you get your house in order.
Keep your inventory list:
We’ll go through the gauntlet of traps, snares and outright opposition to our spiritual growth. Satan is not playing games with the children of Elohim. Time is running out for him and his goal is to deceive, block, thwart, destroy or kill His children. I have a testimony about that, too.
As the Spirit began to dismantle my life and point out the bone-filled closet in my life, I realized it was Him and I was ANGRY. He was boxing me in and hedging my way. I was so angry, that I turned toward the sky, lifted my middle finger and shot it up at Elohim and screamed, “I hate you!”
I’m still here today to share that! He ignored my little rebellion because He had something for me to do. After my tantrum, He continued to tear me down, brick by painful brick, until I surrendered and said YOU WILL BE DONE!
Until next time, I pray your rebellion begins to float to the surface so it can be cleansed and healed. Elohim willing, we’ll get back to our inventory to help you do that.
